# Recovery 3001 0.4.0 Beta 1 Dev 10

Dev 10 is a Windows development build that changes the product from an
image-tool workflow into a USB-first guided recovery experience. It is not a
signed commercial GA release.

## Default user workflow

- Assume the user has lost files from a connected FAT32 or exFAT USB.
- Auto-select one eligible USB; ask the user to choose only when several are
  present.
- Start recovery within two selections: confirm the USB is connected, then
  select `이 USB에서 파일 찾기`.
- Automatically create and reuse a source-bound safe workspace on another
  physical drive.
- Check required and available space before reading the USB.
- Hide PhysicalDrive, sector, image, checkpoint, and session concepts from the
default workflow; keep existing-image and saved-session actions under
  `전문가 도구`.
- Automatically search after the safe read completes.
- Group results into photos, videos, PDF, Office, CAD, and other files.
- Show user-facing likelihood as `높음`, `확인 필요`, or `손상 가능`.
- Block recovery to the same physical USB and preserve non-overwriting output.
- Finish with one clear recovered-folder action and an optional detailed
  recovery record.

## Installation

- Produce one `Recovery-3001-Setup.exe`.
- Remove install-directory and component-selection pages.
- Install the application, desktop and Start menu shortcuts, uninstall entry,
  and administrator launch policy automatically.

## Automated acceptance

- Default workflow action placement: passed at 1280x720 100%,
  1920x1080 150%, and 1280x720 150%.
- Default visible storage-engine terms: zero across all six workflow states.
- Common format category mapping: passed.
- Stable per-USB workspace reuse: passed.
- Same-physical-device output blocking remains fail-closed.

## Remaining external release gates

- Physical FAT32 and exFAT 1,000-file regression on this exact Dev 10 build.
- Long read-error and disconnect endurance testing.
- Additional USB vendors and capacities.
- Actual Windows 10 x64 run.
- At least four of five unassisted users complete the workflow.
- Windows code-signing certificate and signed installer.

Android remains deferred and is not included in this release.
