# Recovery 3001 0.4.0 Beta 1 Dev 10 R20

R20 polishes the guided Windows interface without changing the recovery
engine or weakening the R19 installer lifecycle guard.

## User-visible improvements

- The welcome action now uses a clearer, complete instruction:
  `USB를 연결했습니다 · 계속`.
- The file-selection heading, visible result count, selected count, estimated
  output size, and primary recovery action are grouped in one summary card.
- On a narrow window the recovery action expands to the card width so it
  remains easy to find and fully visible.
- The six-step indicator is rendered as passive progress state instead of
  button-like tabs, reducing the false impression that future steps can be
  opened out of order.
- Existing Korean type, spacing, safety colors, and the collapsed expert
  records remain consistent with the guided workflow.

## Retained behavior

- FAT32 and exFAT deleted, hidden, system, hidden-system, and deleted-parent
  candidates remain supported.
- Ordinary active visible files remain excluded from recovery candidates.
- Same-device output, system disks, and unsafe or ambiguous devices remain
  fail-closed.
- The R19 named-mutex installer, update, and removal protection remains in
  place.
- Source-device write-command count remains zero.

## Verification target

- All Rust workspace tests and Clippy with warnings denied.
- Four automated UI layout profiles, including exact
  `1024x720 at 150%`.
- Ten native Windows UI captures covering welcome, selection, preview,
  completion, cancellation, insufficient space, disconnect, and resumed
  read-error states.
- Single NSIS setup EXE lifecycle audit.

## Remaining commercial gates

R20 remains an unsigned development beta. It does not replace the required
disposable physical-USB deletion test, Windows 10 execution, observed
five-person usability study, read-error endurance, or trusted code-signing
certificate evidence.
